Modifying can void its warranty.  Warranties to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. When you modify you are altering its original design and functionality, which can introduce new risks and potential issues that the manufacturer did not account for when providing the warranty.

  1. Manufacturer's Policy: Manufacturers clearly state in their warranty terms and conditions that the warranty will be void if the product is modified or if unauthorized repairs are made. 

  2. Authorized Repairs: Manufacturers offer authorized repair services or have partnerships with authorized service centers. Authorized repairs or upgrades may not void the warranty, but it's crucial to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and use approved components.

  3. Third-Party Modifications: Even if you didn't make the modifications yourself but had them done by a third-party, it still void the warranty unless the third-party is authorized by the manufacturer or Ergoseat to perform such modifications without voiding the warranty.

  4. Exceptions: There may be certain situations where modifications don't necessarily void the entire warranty. For example, some manufacturers may offer separate warranties for specific components or parts that haven't been modified.

It's important to read and understand the warranty terms and conditions provided by the manufacturer of your product. If you're considering modifications, you should be aware of the potential consequences for your warranty coverage. If you have questions or uncertainties, it's a good idea to contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center for clarification before proceeding with any modifications. Q: What does warranty covered?

A: Warranty Cover Manufacturer Defect, FREE OF CHARGE, Part to Part Exchange

Q: Ergoseat provide On-Site Service?

A: Yes, we do provide on-site service at a transportation fee S$20.00 per time. Labour, parts and materials will be FREE OF CHARGE.

 

Q: I do not wish to pay transportation fee, can I bring my chair to your office?

A: Yes, service and repair at our office will be FREE OF CHARGE, you need to bring down Chairs or Tables. It will take 3 to 5 workings days, once repaired done we will call or msg you for collection.
